Senior Database Engineer

Technical Skills and Expertise

  • Industrial working experience in at least one of databases such as Oracle DB2, Postgre and HP NONSTOP (SQL/MX).
  • Excellent knowledge of Database design and management.
  • Proficiency in database programming languages such as SQL, PL/SQL (Oracle), SQL PL(DB2), PLPGSQL.
  • Strong writing and understanding of complex SQL queries and database objects such as procedures, functions, packages, triggers, etc.
  • Extensive experience in query performance tuning and debugging of procedures, functions and other database objects.
  • Experience in data migration process flow, such as data mapping, data conversion and implementation.

Desirable Skills

  • Financial industry/ banking domain knowledge.
  • Knowledge in NoSQL, HP NONSTOP, MS SQL server.
  • Knowledge in database administration.
  • Knowledge/Experience in Java SPs.

Minimum Experience: 4-6 years of database development.

Minimum Qualification: Bachelor degree/ higher diploma in IT/ Computer Science or relevant field.
